Hello!  I’m Christina, the blogger behind Clean Eating, Healthy Living.  I started this blog as a way to share information on what has helped me fight debilitating autoimmune diseases, weight issues and a host of other problems.  Back in 2009 when I started my journey towards regaining my health, I was just simply sick and tired of being sick and tired.  Sound familiar?

I have single-handedly tried every fad, scheme, detox out there.  They all work great!  For a hot minute. But soon, I fall right back into the same habits as before.  See, fads, diets, detoxes etc, aren’t sustainable.  But there had to be something out there that is.   Then one day, I did something absolutely unheard of.  I stopped dieting.  I stopped worrying. I looked deep within and realized the answers had always been there.  I started eating REAL FOOD.  The weight fell off.  I was no longer tired all day.  My eczema virtually disappeared. I had boundless energy.

Just to give you a little perspective, this is me in 2009 at the beginning of my health journey:

What started out as me wanting to lose weight and feel better has turned into a passion for health and vitality.  I realized there was so much to learn.  But the answer to any question I had was simple.  Go back to basics.  It’s the key to health and the key to life-long wellness.

This is me today:

I am a student of life.  This journey is not over, in fact, it’s only beginning.   I have more pounds to lose, more ailments to cure and more chemicals to get out of my life.  It seems overwhelming but it’s really not.  It’s empowering.  The key to health and wellness is available to us all.  We just need to search for it and implement the wisdom that has really been here all along;  Trust Nature.  Trust Real Food.  Trust Ancient Wisdom. Trust Your Instincts and Your Body.  These are the keys to life.

That’s why I started this blog.  To share with you what I learned and am learning.  I invite you to join me on this journey.

Here are some resources that I find absolutely vital to my continued success.  I will update this list as I move forward. But these are the sources that built my foundation of knowledge and my support through it all.
